How to update site settings and features

Learn how to update site settings to change the hookups, amenities, and descriptions for your individual sites.

You can customize individual sites in your campground by updating their site-specific settings. This is useful when you want to adjust pricing, availability, or other site details like amenities, electric hookup options, or even add photos.

📍 How to Access the Site Settings Menu

  1. Go to the Reservations tab to open your calendar view.
  1. Hover over the site name in the list and click it.
  1. This will open the site-specific settings menu for that particular site.

These can also be accessed from your sites settings page.

⚙️ Site Settings You Can Adjust

Here’s a breakdown of what you can customize:

✅ Bookable Toggle

  • Toggle on (green) to allow guests to book the site online.
  • Toggle off to make the site unavailable for online bookings (useful for maintenance or seasonal closures).

🏕️ Site Name

  • Change the name or number of the site (e.g., Site 3 → Cabin A).

🔄 RV-specific featueres

  • Site direction: choose how vehicles access the site.
    • Back-in
    • Pull-through
    • Pull-in
    • Hybrid
  • Maximum rig length: the maximum combined length of vehicle that can fit in the site
  • Electric hookup: the amperage of electric hookups available at the site
  • Meter reading: the current meter reading for the site. This is updated automatically as invoices are managed.

💲 Rate Plans

Site prices are managed through Rate Plans. Each site is assigned to one Rate Plan, which controls the prices used for new reservations on that site.

Rate plans can be shared across multiple sites. This is helpful when several sites use the same pricing structure, because updating the Rate Plan will update pricing for all sites assigned to it.

Important: If you edit a Rate Plan that is shared by multiple sites, the pricing changes will apply to every site using that Rate Plan. If only one site needs different pricing, create a new Rate Plan or switch that site to a different one.

From the site settings panel, you can:

  • View the site’s current Rate Plan
  • Edit the Rate Plan pricing
  • Switch the site to a different existing Rate Plan
  • Create a new Rate Plan for unique pricing

Check out this Help Article on how to manage your site prices using Rate Plans.
